Our History

In 1988 we opened our first restaurant in Moraira called La Micheta, which was followed by other restaurants, so we have been in the catering business for more than 35 years.

In 1992 we opened Monroe’s Carvery also in Moraira, serving for 30 years, until 2022 when we closed its doors.

In the city of skyscrapers, Benidorm, we were also managers of a restaurant called The Carvery serving our typical English food, we changed the name in 2017 and called it The Nags Head, which was the name of a very famous English television programme from the 70’s, until we stopped serving in 2019.

In 2014 we opened a new restaurant, Monroe’s Carvery in Pedreguer, starting to shape our current project, changing its name and image in 2018, changing its name to Black Flame, renovating the premises until we achieved our dream, a perfect place to serve breakfast, lunch, lunch, dinner and of course, live music every Friday.

We have been continually striving to renew ourselves until we achieved this latest project, which has been active for more than 9 years, giving importance not only to the food, but also to an atmosphere and a pleasant place in which to enjoy good evenings, a game of pool and darts, or just a chat with friends, always enjoying good music in the background.

Our gastronomy is based on typical English cuisine with more than 35 years of passion and dedication in the world of catering.

You can enjoy our English breakfasts with a wide variety of proposals, lunches and dinners and a wide selection of homemade desserts.

On Thursdays from 12:30h to 17:30h and Sundays from 12:00h to 22:00h uninterruptedly, we offer the Carvery, which consists of roast beef and pork with a free buffet of vegetables, being able to go at any time and enjoy something very typical of our land, giving Spanish diners the opportunity to enjoy our delicious typical English food.
